The Scientific Symposium entitled “Introducing the New Era of Ageing Healthcare in a Digital World: Technologies of Excellence and Inclusive Innovations for Healthy Longevity” was successfully held at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, attracting significant interest from the academic, research, and healthcare communities.

The symposium featured insightful presentations and fruitful discussions on innovative approaches and emerging technologies related to healthy ageing, digital healthcare, and inclusive care. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, IoT technologies, and other cutting-edge digital solutions in improving the quality of life and wellbeing of older adults.

The event also served as the official presentation platform for the new Joint Master’s Programme “Innovative Technologies and Contemporary, Integrated Healthcare in Ageing (ITHA)”, developed in collaboration with international academic partners and aimed at preparing highly qualified professionals in the field of healthy and active ageing.
